If you’re looking to make a set of easy keeping cows that will raise a big calf every year in tough country, these heifers are just what you need! They’re all out of cows with good udders that know how to make a living. They’ll mature to be around 1100 pounds. They’ll be 1/2 to 1/4 beefmaster so they carry enough brahman influence to get the extra fertility, longevity, and thriftiness, but when bred to continental and English bulls their calves won’t show any ear.
The beefmaster influence comes from Johnson Beefmaster bulls. The 1/4 beefmaster heifers are mostly sired by red angus bulls with a handful being from a hereford bull. They come from a gentle herd and are very gentle themselves.
They’ve had two rounds of shots and dewormer, plus they are weaned and bunk broke. They are polled or dehorned. Bangs vaccinated
Due to summering on different pastures, they’re split into two groups by weight. The first group of 8 weighs 650 pounds and are $2200 per head. The second group of 16 weighs 500 pounds and are $1950 per head.
